This my friends is a fact. Please stop trying to be Paris Hilton and get a grip when it comes to buying your baby clothes. I mean one or two items that are atrociously priced is ok. And giving someone a thoughtful overly priced gift is ok. But when your baby’s wardrobe is more expensive than a professional woman’s, then you’ve got to get control of yourself.
Let’s face it, I’m not exactly someone who can dish out money advice, I lose more money than someone with a gambling problem, however, I cannot understand why someone would ever buy their baby $80 shoes and worse yet multiple pairs of $80 shoes.
You do know that a baby is that size for a week max? Not to mention that they barf on everything? Like actually everything. What are you thinking? I mean, if you want to get your baby something expensive, get them a Birks or Tiffany rattle. At least that can be passed down generation to generation. But shoes? Trendy stupid shoes that are going to be too small and out of style in a week is just foolish. What’s that all about? Odds are you aren’t a Kardashian and you can’t afford this lifestyle so smarten up.
You have to be smarter than that. Even super rich people, you have to be smarter than that. Instead of throwing your money away on those shoes, donate the money to kids who don’t even have shoes and feel good about yourself.
