Each and every December, North Americans, actually people around the world, pay worship to consumerism, and celebrate the Mallidays.
This year my office, kbs+p, created a video articulating, um well, sound-effecting, why you should avoid the Mall over the holidays. What’s that all about? Pure awesomeness. Besides the fact that I’m in this, this video showcases the worst-of-the-worst of the holiday mall experience. Plus, there are some super cute kids in here, and a feisty elf too.
Seriously though, what is it about the holidays that makes people go mental at the mall. I realize it’s super crowded, but people turn into monsters. Every day is like Black Friday, where moms, dads, friends, boyfriends and girlfriends, are willing to trample you so that they get to that perfect gift before you do. It’s insane. The holidays should be about family and love and eating. Not about who gets the best gift.
All that said, I love Santa. I love giving gifts. I love getting gifts. Really, I’m just as bad as everyone else.
So yeah…this was a short post, but I’m super busy trying to mentally prepare for going to the mall tonight. God. Sounds awful.
