As a child you day dream about getting a real job and being a grown up.
The problem with growing up, is that you realize that many people that your surrounded by missed the growing up stage in their development. What’s that all about? These people still operate like they are in a play ground at recess and they are the ‘destroyers’. Destroying everyone’s confidence, everyone’s workplace satisfaction and everyone’s overall good time.
Below is an example of three ‘destroyers’:
The bully: The bully is a condescending a-hole who likes to put down other members of their team in front of their team. By doing this, they feel like more of a man/woman, but in reality they end up looking like the biggest jackass of all time.
The toddler: Toddlers are known for having public temper tantrums. They may: pound fists against their table, throw big fits, and start screaming at anyone who is with in earshot.
The sabotager: Also known as ‘bus-throwers’. These people will in any circumstance, throw a team member under the proverbial bus to a) get a head or b) place blame (these people should literally go outside and walk in front of a real bus).
The combie: The combie is the worst of all. They encompass all three of the above traits. They ruin colleagues reputations, they have ridiculous childish fits and they make fun of everyone. Really, if you are ever a boss of a combie you should fire them immediately before your entire team quits.
JS-ing, work is supposed to be a place where adults go to make money.

Meghan HuntI feel like you have probably just done a study of the employees at my work. I believe I told my mother I felt like I was working with a bunch of six graders after my first few months there, except they are bigger and way more vicious then in grade school.
